MIHAS 2024 (Malaysia International Halal Showcase) kicked off with a dynamic Opening Ceremony, setting an inspiring tone for the event. The grand launch was officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, alongside Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia; YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry; Dato' Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican, Chairman of MATRADE; and Datuk Mohd Mustafa Abdul Aziz, CEO of MATRADE. During the Opening Ceremony, we celebrated MIHAS 2023's remarkable achievement of setting a Guinness World Record for the largest halal tradeshow attendance. This significant milestone highlighted the growing global interest in halal products and services, with FiLLiP proudly contributing to this success. The day continued with a productive Business Meeting, where industry leaders and stakeholders gathered to discuss innovative solutions and collaborative opportunities. We also had the honor of being invited to attend the Brazil business networking event, which provided further opportunities for collaboration and growth. Additionally, we participated in a session with Yang Amat Mulia Paduka Puteri Tunku Hajah Mariam Zaharah binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, adding a prestigious element to our day. Participants engaged in insightful discussions, networking, and sharing best practices, making Day 1 a resounding success.
